GROWING NAI POETRY
Journeying Through Poetry With Nai

NAI
Performance Poet | Spoken Word Artist | Writer
Short Film Producer | Community Workshop Facilitator
Growing Nai has featured on BBC Radio 6 (Steve Lamacq and Mary Anne Hobbs), BBC Three Counties (Kerrie Cosh, Radio 1 DJ), New Style Radio, and with Live Sets at Camper Calling Festival 24, Birmingham Music Festival 23, Back to the Roots Festival 23 and Kaya Festival 21
Growing Nai was born out of Nai’s need to desperately ‘grow’ her circumstances after being left (in 2020) a single, isolated mother, symptomatic of CPTSD. Nai instinctively took to poetry, journaling and artistic expression to outlet/process the memories and experiences overwhelming her system.

For Nai, sharing poetry and healing within the community go hand in hand. Nai has a story of healing and hope inside, and a desire to connect deeply with the world in pursuit of fulfillment, healing, joy and social change. Take a look at her website to see past work and testimonials, and don't hesitate to get in touch if you would like to collaborate or ask any questions.

"Is life a journey to enlightened perfection, or is it a journey to compassion for the innocence of imperfection?"
